We are based in Missouri.
Can we visit your cats/kittens?
No, we do not allow general visits to our cats or kittens. Our kittens are either too young for visits or are reserved by families on our waiting list. It is not safe or considerate to allow random visits to kittens that belong to other families who have followed our policies and waited for the appropriate time to meet their kitten.
Do you deliver kittens?
Families are responsible for transporting their kittens home.
How will I choose a kitten when it is my turn?
We share kitten pictures on social media at a very young age and will post pictures on the Kittens page on the website. When a litter is born that you may choose from, we will contact you. If you are interested in that litter, we will share pictures and videos to help you choose your kitten around 8 weeks of age.
Are Maine Coon kittens hypoallergenic?
No cat or kitten with fur is hypoallergenic. Allergies vary by person and by cat. People often become desensitized to their own pets but may still react to unfamiliar animals. We do not recommend adding kittens to your family if you suspect allergies in children. Adults can decide how well they can manage their symptoms.
Do cats need to be bathed?
Generally, cats do not need to be bathed as they are self-grooming. However, to control loose fur and for the pet’s comfort, many families choose professional grooming 1-2 times a year. Bathing too often or with harsh shampoos can cause fur breakage and skin irritation. Trimming certain areas can also help with hygiene as the fur grows longer.
How big do Maine Coon cats get?
Our females typically weigh 15-20 pounds by 1-2 years old, and our males weigh 18-25 pounds by the same age. They continue to grow slowly for a few more years, stopping around age 4. Males can be 20-28 lbs when full grown and females can be 18 – 25 lbs.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept PayPal, Zelle transfer for deposits. Final payments can be made with cash, cashier’s check, or money order when you pick up your kitten. We never ask for additional payments between your deposit and final payment.
Are your Maine Coons registered pedigree lines?
Yes, our Maine Coons are fully registered pedigree lines with CFA and/or ACFA.
